2.6.0 killed my touchpad... (fixed)

I got the touchpad problem fixed! Under gentoo, simply using the "mm-sources". 
What the latest version of the mm-sources is, a slightly patched 2.6.0 test 2 
kernel package. You can ftp the patches from ftp.kernel.org. All you need do 
is run menuconfig, turn on synaptics support and compile the kernel as 
normal. Once installed, your touchpad now works as before.

Yeah!
