Me too although I have an error "/etc/modprobe.devfs not found"

I'm a little curious as to what it's looking for that for this is on a
mandrake 9.1 box. I tried cp /etc/modules.devfs /etc/modprobe.devfs but
that just threw heaps of error messages...

looks like it's rtfm time for the new mod-utils I installed.
