Well, OK.  I'm gonna download all the junk I need and try the Llllllama 
dual-compiler switch.  I think I'll stay away from glibc 2.3.x.  I 
don't like pain.  We know the Lllllllama does; over there workin' for 
VA Soft  ;-)
