On his last remark about not porting to Linux -- somebody at the last
Seattle Unix Group meeting said that M$ is definately in the process of
porting Office to Linux.

It makes no sense to me for them not to do this.  Office is a cash cow for
M$, their OS revenue is a relatively small part of their income, and
StarOffice/OpenOffice.org may be more of a threat to them than Linux.
