I was first trying the pre-compiled version from AT&T. That one needed the
2.3 version.

So it 'could' be as simple as compiling/installing it? No dependency
hassles?

I have found the ksh source at at&t. One needs to install their 'package'
package to make all this easy. I have done this and have a compiled ksh. We
will next see what the test scripts make of this. They are one of the
things (maybe the only thing) we currently depend on UnixWare for.

After the port to ksh93 on Linux, they are headed for tcl, which has been a
task put off for far too long. We are probably the only company in the world
that has all our hardware test scripts written in ksh. We used to have a
very strange hardware group...
