my guess was that on about wednesday novell would announce that, 
actually, it had kept the ibm stuff, so sco was without standing 
there, too.

my sense is that the rodent and suck parts are plenty accurate.

i still believe that the rule for the plaintiff's bar should be this: 
lose, and the minute the jury so pronounces the lawyer is taken away 
to serve the sum of the amount sought and the legal expenses of the 
defense, both in a maximum security prison and redeemed at minimum 
wage, no overtime. this is the kind of tort reform that everyone who 
is not a member of the american trial lawyer association can live 
with.
