Share problem under dosemu

I am trying to run a dos accounting program under dosemu.  I put the share 
command (default settings) in the config.sys file, but when I try to run my 
package I get a error:  "SHARE not loaded".

Is there something amiss here?  The program is in C:\cms folder.  I also put 
path=C:\cms in the config.sys file, just in case, but it doesn't seem to 
respond.

Do I need to load the share and path.exeprograms first?  If so, will a copy 
placed in the c:\ directory work?
