buggered localhost

All of my helpful comrades I need help, again.
I've got 2 partitions, a "using one" and a "learning one".  The
"learning" one was working fine until I tried to use KDE's Network
Configuration to set up the modem instead of the Kppp internet dial up
tool.  After I tried the Network thing I (I think that's how it
happened) when I try to print I get this Message Get_local_host:
hostname 'localhost' bad.  But at the beginning of a line it is this;
[bobhemus at localhost bobhemus]$

Anybody know what I might have done or how to fix it.  I can connect to
my server, that's how I'm sending this.

I'm running RH7.3.  Thank you for your help.
