Slackware 9.0 and scsi problem

The controller is some kind of 274x but it is not a standalone card - it is
embedded on the motherboard. And, you're right, it doesn't support
booting the CD. The machine itself is EISA but this should not matter,
should it?
DOS startup method?? I have only CD1 - I downloaded and burned
the iso image to get this one. I see no mention of a CD2 on the
Slackware WEB site or on the mirrors.

What you say here about the DOS startup seems sensible. How do I
get my hands on that CD2?
