Compatibility layer. I've got everything from AIX 4.1 through 5.2 and
they simply provided linux functionality starting with 5L. You can get
the same stuff from the Bull Freeware site. http://www.bullfreeware.com/
though they come in .exe's (yes it's true). You simply do a chmod +x on
them, run the executable which creates .bff and .asc files then run
installp on them. The compatibility stuff comes in .rpm format which
requires installing rpm from a .bff before you can install any rpms!
