It could be something funky with RH9, as i'm still running its default
kernel (albeit the XFS version). I am running the same OS load on a
completely different brand/model laptop, and apm works just fine there. I
suppose i could build my own kernel, although i've been holding out for
2.4.21 before going this route. I just thought perhaps this was something
obvious.
