I have installed knoppix 3.2 on 2 computers here, a generic athlon1.4 
with sblivevalue and geforce2, and an emachines with built in sound and 
savage video, with no problems using their script, knx-hdinstall, I 
think. Everything was autodetected. I had previous linux partitions 
(reiserfs) to use.
