You keep driving it and don't stop. ;-)  I'd say among the family we average 
maybe 1200 miles a week spread over all the cars (uneven balance of course- 
some don't get the long commute the others do).  Mostly highway driving helps 
too as the brakes and the like don't get worn out so fast.
