RH 7.3 named won't start

On mine, /var/run/ has a directory called named/ with the appropriate 
permissions for the named binary.


[root at rigel root]# v /var/run/named/
total 12
drwxr-xr-x    2 named    named        4096 Mar 30 00:35 .
drwxr-xr-x    6 root     root         4096 Jan  2 10:27 ..
-rw-r--r--    1 named    named           6 Mar 30 00:35 named.pid
