Calendar sharing with Outlook

Well, first the disclaimer - no claims on being an expert...
First, I think the shared calendar and scheduling feature is a function of
the exchange server, not outlook itself so you need something to provide
this functionality. I believe something like ximian evolution might provide
this but I'm not sure.

You might also look at bynari insight server. they claim to have a server
with exchange functionality to allow outlook clients to connect as they
would to exchange.

Otherwise you may be stuck with accepting the migration.
