2.5.x kernel questions

OK.  Have you created the new conf file for your modules?  It uses a different 
filename and slightly different format from the old.  There's a script to 
generate it included with the new module-init-tools.  Sadly, that script 
didn't do jack for me.  Your best bet is probably the manpage for the new 
conf file (/etc/modprobe.conf).  I'm not using XFS so I don't know about that 
one.  ACPI is probably a waste of time if your box doesn't need it to boot.  
The tools haven't caught up with the capabilities in the kernel yet anyway, 
so I haven't been able to get it to do anything at all.  v1 swapfiles are 
safe for at least 2.4 and higher, so no problem there.
