Squid - startpage?

A question similar to this passed through the Squid list a few months
ago.  <digging...>

Ah.  I doesn't seem possible with Squid without changing some of the
source but someone wrote this little nugget that may do what you want.

In a nutshell it says it displays a page before the browsers startpage
is displayed.
