Not using more than 8.3 filenames but I do have the following statements
in my AUTOEXEC.BAT:
lredir l: linux\fs/dos
lredir e: linux\fs/home/DOS-E
lredir f: linux\fs/home/DOS-F
And those directories *are* in upper-case.
