My apologies for taking so long to get back to info I've requested. In 
order to initiate a packet modem (Ham radio) I have to send it  a 
<return>. I've solved that in the tnc's firm-ware I appreciate the 
reply. I still have a tiny-tnc that I usse with a lap-top that still 
needs that <return> character before it comes to life. That I'll put off 
untill another day. Right now most of my time is taken up with redoing 
everything here and fighting off allegators at the swamp (or are those 
just large rats?) Thanks again.
