Quick CD copy question

Does all this mean that the SuSE DVDs are 'not' made under their own OS? And
the DVDs given away with some Linux Mags the same? Oh, the disillusion...

I had a user ask if the Sony DVD he bought (DCD-RW, DVD+RW, USB2,
Firewirecdrtools-2.0.tar.gz and IDE all in one) could work with Linux. The
jury is still out, I guess.

I read that cdrtools 2.0 should support DVD+R. Except my download can't seem
to be gunziped...
