Bug in ps2epsi in debian distro (lindows)

FWIW, I discovered a similar error a couple of weeks ago when I tried to use 
the ps2epsi utility on my COL311 system. An rpm query shows that my ps2epsi 
came as a part of ghostscript-6.51-10. So, whatever the problem is, it's been 
around for a while.
