dual heads

I agree with Ian that everybody should have two monitors until 30 inch
monitors become affordable. When I tried to do it, my new GeForce4 did not
get along with my built in SiS. In fact, I was not even able to get the new
one working after disabling the old one in bios. So, I wanted to hear what
video cards work and what else it took. For example,

I see one site with an ugly two headed Tux that says XFree86 doesn't
support this yet so use Xi Graphics. But, the Matrox site offers a beta
driver for XFree86. I wanted to know what other people's experience is. Is
anyone else using multiple monitors?

Ian, if you are having good results and know a better way, I would like to
hear more about it when you have the time.

Everybody else, thanks for the heads up on the HTML. Let's see if the plain
text change took effect yet, and let me know if it goes back later.
