imap issues

Awhile back I sent a message about various imap issues I was having...

Thanks to Andrew Mathews for some info on imap in general.

On the other problem - not being able to see all of the messages on the
exchange server via an imap client. Don't have a fix for this yet, but I
have found a workaround.

If I copy the messages from the inbox on the server to a local folder on the
windows desktop with outlook, then back to the inbox, the message will then
be viewable from an imap client.
