arts server with alsa

Hi everyone.

I have installed alsa drivers in a trident compatible sound system. So i
can´t hear the sound test in the arts server configurator.
I think the arts server must be configured properly - mainly about the file
that the system must use for playing sound. Maybe i´m wrong.
(I have already set the mixer to unmute)

Someone can help me ?

My system:
Conectiva Linux 8
K - 2.14.18
