Wow, now I know why I paid the few extra bucks to get my ViewSonic
A90f+.  I just got through viewing one of the Apple movie trailers.  One
button push to get into UltraBrite Mode, and the results are dazzling. 
Even my middle of the road sound card and speakers provide movie theater
quality sound.

I've just sent Llama my thanks and an addendum for gentoo users.
