a (probably breathtakingly stupid) mta question

greets, chilluns!

in due course, which is to say in the next week or so, i intend to do
an install-from-scratch of suse 8.2. my question does not have to do
with the advisability of this.

instead, i'm pondering going with the flow, instead of fighting. i'll
endure the delightfully named grub over lilo, and i'll acquiesce to
postfix over sendmail. it is about the latter that my question
arises.

my sendmail.cf includes my being able to pretend to be
linuxandmain.com. without this, i cannot send mail purporting to be
from linuxandmain.com.

problem is, i can specify only one such masquerade in sendmail, which
screws me up in sending messages from the other domain i own,
drippingwithirony.com.

my objection to postfix is that i frankly have no idea how to set up
the masquerade -- it was tough enough with sendmail. by dread of
making the switch, though, will be salved if it is true that i can
masquerade multiple domains, which i couldn't do with sendmail.

anybody know if this can be done?

the envelope, and no animated paperclip anywhere.
