I like the flash presentation. 

My only comment is general to gentoo descriptions. I think they should
explain more directly that the ebuild scripts do not replace the
configure;make;make install process. They just augment it to ease the
process of making the package by checking that needed components exist, get
them if not, and tell the ./configure script where the things to use are.
And maybe fiddle with the bits the package does not quite get right. And
allow you to get rid of things no longer used.

I like my gentoo!
