I think on the Mandrake 8.2   I tried to install on my old Pentium, 
there was an
option to format the disk for for the XFS file system.  The Mandrake 
was/is 2.4.19.
I couldn't get the Mandrake to work.  Don't I see XFS go by when I start 
my RH 7.3?
