Yes and they have fixed the bug I found most annoying....

In 1.01 & .02 you would create a bulleted list save it as a doc and then 
open it in word and it would have little pool balls with the number ten 
on them. I like to use oo for my docs but when you have to use word as 
the final editor it's a pain.

oo is quicker launching under linux too (highly subjective)

Also the UI... is a bit cleaner.
