Please help !! How to use USB Harddisk in Redhat !!

Open a terminal and become root. Enter the following command:
tail -f /var/log/messages

then plug in and turn on your usb device. Wait to see if it is 
recognized. messages should give you a clue as to what device it is.
You may ned to update your kernel, since usb support is in progress.

usbview is helpful.

linux-usb-users at lists.sourceforge.net is a good newsgroup for usb.
