Do you want Shockwave, or Flash? I believe they are different animals. 
Flash has a linux plugin, libflashplayer.so, which should be in your 
~/.mozilla/plugins directory, or the plugins directory where you have 
your Mozilla program (default RH 8.0 1.0.1 is 
/usr/lib/mozilla-1.0.1/plugins/).

Shockwave Player requires the crossover plugin, Flash doesn't.
