Yes, someone mentiond it on wither the kde-usability or kde-kmail 
mailing lists. I've changed themes and made the icons larger, seems to 
help a little.

Found it... bug report on the kde-kmail list,
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=54436

I'm sure they'd consider a new icon, if you want to submit one ;-)
