SUSe dial out

Much thanks. Problem solved. Apparently Yast2 set up kinternet to start at 
login. Used YAST2 to find that modem had not been setup at install. Set it up 
with Yast2, then hit the right hand mouse button on the connection icon on 
the toolbar and instructed it not to start at login. Restarted kinternet and 
the beast dialed out and linked to the internet. I think the problem was that 
I installed SUSe 8,1 with an ethernet card installed. Yast2 found the card 
but didn't do anything with it, except to block the moden connection. I think 
the next time I do a SUSe8.1 I'll install it without the network card in then 
use Yast2 to setup the ethernet card after boot up.
