Guess your not that familiar with SuSE.
The best way to look through all the packages is to use YAST2 (once
installed or even during the install) and the software add/remove
section.
There, divided into categories of software (games, etc) you will find all
the packages listed in their categories, and if you click on the
description box, it will give a brief description of each.
You can also use the 'search' function to search for things, such as
gimp, moon, earth, etc... to find various packages dealing with the
search arg.
