Actually, there is strong evidence that if we didn't have global warming
we'd be in an ice age right now. [Do a search for Maunder Minimum on the web
for a lot more information, or read the appropriate chapter in "A Step
Further Out" by Jerry Pournell.]  We just need to learn how to hit the
center of the target climate, not overshoot.  'Til then, Skippy, it is
freezing your buns or toasting your toes.
