Maybe, but I have to wonder when 99.98% of the lists seem to handle it with no problems and have for years.

I have no illusions about convincing them.

Like Kmail <G>.  Yes, I'm glad Slypheed does it right.  I went to it because I want to get away from KDE (I stopped at 2.2.1) and with this new box and Gentoo I had the opportunity.  So far I like Sylpheed (I'm using Claws) very much.
