It works, mostly. That was with the old version of StarOffice. As always,
and perhaps inevitably, here may be font and background issues.

Biggest problem I had was trying to edit them in Powerpoint. PP really
sucks. If it is the least unhappy, it falls over and behaves erratically.

Bottom line - I would still do it - especially if the presentation
was simple. I think StarOffice is easier to use and more intuitive
than PP. Just try to rotate an image 90 degrees in PP! It's trivial in
StarOffice. All but impossible in PP.
