like the file says, the Xserver should handle /proc/mtrr unless you're
sure you know better (then you're probably writing a driver for a
particular video card).  If you are writing a video driver, the file does
have some examples of how to change /proc/mtrr, but I'm afraid they went
right over my head.

What's in your /proc/mtrr file anyway and are you sure you can do better?
