Forgive me for replying to my own message, but the added information is quite
pertinent to the subject at hand.
As hoped for, the compile of kde 3.1 has completed over here. Only one other
problem cropped up its' head during the process. Total problems with this
compile project now adds up to, TWO. The above mentioned missing, obsolete
header file and a broken link to a library on my compile machine. Once I fixed
the link, compile finished up perfectly.
Amazing! No other problems, no other hacking, adding libraries, etc... the total
KDE 3.1 project just... compiled.
So, how does KDE 3.1 look and feel? I'll be posting a humble review with in the
next fews hours. I want to move the /opt/kde310 to my "daily user" and make my
tests there.
Cheers all.
