Knoppix: Any caveats?

It really was quite easy when I tried it (2-3 months ago), but at that
time you could create any fs you wanted as long as it was EXT2
(<groan>).   Also, not really being debian knowledgable, I found the
post-install effort more than what I wanted.  BTW, the debian fanatics
aren't really pleased because Knoppix has had the audacity to include
some non-gpl software (the world may come to an end!).
