MechWarrior 2

It doesn't say that the game doesn't work, it just says that it trips some sort of cd detection code.  I just ran a quick google search and there is a no-cd hack for the game so you may be able to get it working.  

Is Mechwarrior a bit of an acquired taste?  I got an oem copy of Mechwarrior 2 that came included with something a few years back... I played maybe 5 minutes of so of the game before the thing hit the junk pile.

I do have a Transgaming subscription though and I may have that cd kicking around somewhere yet so I might just try and see if I can get the game running if you're curious about it.
