I spend a fair amount of time building current RPMS for the packages that
we use (our production systems are still all Caldera in one incarnation or
another).  We have development boxes for each distribution going back to
OpenLinux 1.3 so that we can be sure that the RPMS we use are consistent
with the same set of libraries etc.

Life gets more difficult when one has to maintain an installed base, and
there are some systems that would be difficult to update since they're (a)
working, and (b) mission-critical.

Instead of giving money to found colleges to promote learning, why don't
they pass a constitutional amendment prohibiting anybody from learning
