We've had a drought in North Carolina, only recently, and too late,
alleviated by rain.
We had our first ice storm last night. The stressed trees couldn't hold
the ice.
My back yard is an obstacle course full of large tree branches. Luckily
none of them hit the house.
While the weather patterns are a growing concern, what really worries me
is the human participation in
the disaster in Oz - arson. Here in the home of "Red Neck" Linux, the
locals are content so far with murder,
kidnapping, and child molestation. I guess its just a question of time
before they expand their repertoire too.
