Issues with ext3:
1) Really bad IO performance when compared to XFS.  Ever tried to copy 
6GB files on ext3 and then on XFS?
2) fscks that take longer than the .2 sec that XFS takes in recovery mode

Those are more than enough for my taste.  I want my data, and i want it now.
