I have the following:

	parport0: PC-style at 0x378 [PCSPP,TRISTATE]
	ppSCSI 0.92 (0.92) installed
	epst.0: epst 0.92 (0.92), Shuttle EPST at 0x378 mode 2 (PS/2) dly 1 nice 0 sg
16
	scsi1 : epst
Vendor: HP Model: C5190A Rev: 3740
Type: Processor ANSI SCSI revision: 02

This if for lp0 which has a parport scanner attached. There is also:

	lp0: using parport0 (polling).
	lp0: compatibility mode

Nothig that refers to parport1, lp1, etc.

I do have the line:
options parport_pc io=0x378,0x278 irq=none,none
in my /etc/module.conf file, which I believe is correct.

Could the problem be with the port mode? It is set for a ECP/EPP mode.
Should I change it to SPP?

The defaults are as follows:
Address: 278h
IRQ: IRQ7
Port mode: ECP/EPP
DMA channel: DMA3

Something tells me it is the port mode. What do you think? (This unit is a
PAIN to open up to change the jumpers, so I would like your opinion(s)
first!)

Thanks so much!
