While I'm asking for advice, I'll continue and ask if anyone has:
*) Any games for Linux which actually USE a joystick (preferably a USB
joystick)
*) Any experience with USB Joysticks and Linux (I'm looking at the
Wingman Force 3D (Twist Handle, Forced Feedback, Throttle, etc...)
Thank you all for the benefit of your experienced advice. I'm afraid I
hung up games for the last few years. Partly due to my being Free from
MS, and partly due to my family gaining numbers and partly due to
after-hours work.
Lately I have been feeling the need for some Mech-play among other
things. Yea-though Microsoft is the producer of Mech4, I'll stick to
Mech2 and 3.
Thanks again,
Matt
ps. For those of you Linux gamers out there, feel free to email me
offlist of your favorites and what they require. I bought QuakeIII for
Linux but my poor little Celeron450 doesn't keep up.
