I've tried DRM both in the kernel and modules, no luck. I've also
gotten CVS source snapshots of the DRI r200 tree, and no luck there
either. I could try CVS'ing the r200 branch of the DRI xc tree, but
that looks to be an extremely long download over 28.8k. When you say
Alan, you mean Alan Cox, right? He helped me fix a sound issue long
ago, maybe he'll know what to do here. Do you suggest a post to LKML
with a cc to Alan, or just direct?

Yeah, I tried a few fancy screensavers when I was trying the demo for
XiG's server. I can't remember the name of the one I liked the best,
but it sort of reminded me of some visuals in 3DMark 2001SE.

I really hope EPoX releases a BIOS update or something for this board
soon, though, because it's absolutely full of USB issues- I've now got
keyboard + mouse running off PS/2 adapters, and I've run into countless
issues on all OS's except - you guessed it- Windows, where at least
there are easy to work with drivers to help me out.
