I am deeply sorry for the losses.  It should be a reminder to those of us who 
have been keeping a watch on Indonesia that Christian fanatics and Moslem 
fanatics have been killing one another (entire villages, sometimes) in an 
attempt to impose their own agenda on the nation.

Lest we forget, fanatics of all faiths are a danger to those of goodwill 
within those faiths.  I have a number of Moslem friends are are just 
heartbroken and crushed by the actions of the Islamic fanatics.  I am just as 
appaled by the violence of Christian fanatics in the US and Ireland, the 
Jewish fanatics in Israel and political fanatics.  None of them have any 
respect for human life, nor do they show any mercy when they feel justified 
by their fanaticism.

May the fanatics be reduced in numbers and influence and may their ability to 
harm be destroyed.  I hurt for them.  It is necessary, as Bonhoffer pointed 
out, that good men and women stand up and fight against fanatics.  Failure to 
do so led to the horrors of the Communists and the Nazis and now is leading 
tothe horrors of terrorism.  It is a horrible thing an my heart hurts for you.
