Would have to disagree. You forgot the Turks. Turkey has been one of the
west's most reliable allies. They are even members of NATO. The Turks
are probably the only Islamic nation with a desire to leave the middle
ages, that most Muslims seem to prefer, to history and are pushing
westernazation. Attaturk had his battles with the Moslem clerics in the
1920s and managed to create a country where power is held by a popularly
elected secular government. Most Turks are concerned with how many
Turkish Lira you have to spend rather than where and when you go to
church.
