I read that, hoping it would not be a problem.
Won't a kernel recompile better for me? I got the thing
running now on Command line. Turning a few things
off from the REDHAT version should be the way to go, and
I'll make conservative choices.

Hmmm...I using an ATI RAGE 128. Seems to work fine, but then again,
anything could be happening.
I'll have re-read the docs to find another card
supported by XF 4.2. I'm going to take a break, and
take some time tommorrow to attack this again.

RH 7.3 and RH 8.0 act basically the same on the machine.
I d/l, burned, installed now.
The GUI fails to start.
I did everything else as before.
Seems me and Red Hat don't get along :)
I'll go back to RH 8.0, and strip the Board's video
card first. See what happens. I'll try the kernel
recompile first though.
